Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I’m a young erotic romance author and housewife. I live in the UK with my husband and two German Shepherds, Alex and Ralph. When I’m not writing smut, I love to travel with my husband. I am a fool for romance. I love a man who wears his heart on his sleeve and is kind and generous, but I can also see the appeal of a bad boy. I’ve published four books so far but I have four more that are just about ready.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
‘He Loves My Curves’ is my latest hot wife book. What inspired me to write this novelette was that curvy women are very sexy and desirable but sometimes they cannot see this for themselves.
I wanted to write a story about a beautiful, funny, smart woman who has a loving husband, yet she chooses to ignore this and instead focuses on her weight. I wanted her to realise throughout the book that the only person who didn’t think she was hot was herself, with a few sexy twists and turns of course!
It was one of the most enjoyable books that I have written.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
It’s probably unusual for most writers but coffee actually makes it harder for me to write! I get terrible brain fog. Instead, I opt for a fruity smoothie in the morning and a warm cup of tea for when I write in the afternoon.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
I have always enjoyed reading classical literature as I feel that the romance between the hero and heroine is far more raw. The period setting has always fascinated me and living in the rural British countryside, means that I can easily travel to the locations described in the novels and I can immerse myself in their stories. I would say that these books have influenced my romantic leads the most.
What are you working on now?
I am working on my third instalment of ‘Innocent Wife Makes Trouble In Paradise’, Mindy’s husband Gary is going to be far more loving in this Volume, but her lover Michael has a hold over her that she struggles to break.
I have nearly completed another story about a sassy dominant female teacher who ‘punishes’ a hot younger man.
I’m also writing a story about a woman who gets revenge on her billionaire lover.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I’m active on twitter and I’m currently getting to grips with facebook. I’m hoping to become more prominent on blogging sites and forums as my fan base grows.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
My best advice would be to read other people’s books in the niche that you’re interested in.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Write what you enjoy, not what you think will sell because it will come across as insincere to the reader.
What are you reading now?
I don’t have much time to read these days, but I enjoy reading other author’s smut and romance novels when I get a chance.
What’s next for you as a writer?
I am planning on writing a big series for ‘Innocent Wife Makes Trouble In Paradise’. I’ve had quite a few messages from readers telling me that they’ve enjoyed both books so far and they keep bugging me to write the next instalment.
What is your favorite book of all time?
My favourite book of all time is Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë because Jane and Mr Rochester were total opposites of one another, yet you can read the romantic tension between them throughout the novel and against all odds they get together.
